Sommaren är i antågande och nu vill vi flytta ut. Det gäller att ta vara på de dyrbara dagarna – kanske är det dags att skapa en ny favoritplats? Här kommer lite inspiration.
Summer season is upon us, and we’re longing to get out there. Make the most of the precious days—perhaps by creating a new favourite spot. Here’s some inspiration!
A roof out of wooden laths frames the dining space and provides natural shading during the warmest hours.
A simple (but goodlooking) bench lets you enjoy the morning coffee in the first rays of sun.
A wooden terrace is soft beneath the feet and easy to maintain. By angling the planks you get an updated, modern feel.
The planters that frames this terrace also hosts some extra seating space.
A well planned area for both cooking and dining. The space is highlighted by a ”carpet” of patterned tiles and will eventually also get a green roof.
Build a swing for the shady spot with pallets or a few planks.
A roofed space away from the main house will be a refuge during sunny days, while also letting you enjoy your garden on closer hand.
Make use of the tiniest space—an old lounge chair on the balcony amongst the roses could be a new favourite spot.
Think of the space as you would indoors—walls, celing and floor. There is a great supply of ligthing and textiles made to use outdoors.
Create interest in a smaller area as well as making it feel larger, by dividing it into sections with element that draws the eye in the farther end.
A build-in bench in a corner turns into a dining space together with a table and some chairs. A burlap provides protection from the sun.
Create a moveable shade from the sun with a burlap on sticks.
Simple luxury: a stick, a sheet and a mattress. Light up the lantern and enjoy the summer nights.
